667 — More Than Just a Number

Here's a random fun fact about me that many people probably don't know...

If you've ever wondered why so many of my usernames, nicknames and online names have 667 attached to them, there is actually a story behind it 🎸

And no, I'm not secretly obsessed with numbers 😂

I'm a huge Wig Wam fan.

Their very first album was called 667 – The Neighbour of the Beast, a playful reference to the famous 666 – The Number of the Beast.

And somehow, that little number became so much more than a funny album title.

It became part of Wig Wam.

Part of the fandom.

And eventually, part of me.

One of those moments that made the number even more special happened when Wig Wam won the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix and went on to represent Norway at Eurovision.

The total of votes they won with?

75,667 votes.

There it was again.

A number that had already become connected to so many memories suddenly appeared in one of those huge, unforgettable moments in the band's history.

And from then on, whenever I saw 667, it felt like a tiny wink from the universe.

Maybe it's silly.

Maybe it's just coincidence.

But I don't really care ❤️

Because numbers can become memories too.

For me, 667 carries pieces of concerts, music, laughter, people, adventures, fandom, excitement and moments that have stayed with me.

It's almost like a little memory button.

I can see 667 somewhere completely random and suddenly my brain goes:

"Wig Wam" 🎸

And then comes the whole collection of memories attached to it.

That's why you'll find 667 hidden in many of my usernames and nicknames.

It's not because I think the number itself is magical.

It's because what it represents to me is.

It's a reminder of something that has brought me an enormous amount of joy.

A reminder of music.

Of memories.

Of being a fan.

A reminder about that if one is part of Wig Wamania ONCE, one is part of it Forever. 

Of finding something that makes you feel alive.

And maybe that's why I've always thought of 667 as my lucky number.

Not because three little digits can change your destiny...

but because sometimes we give ordinary things extraordinary meaning simply because of what we've lived through with them.

So if you ever see 667 attached to one of my usernames...

now you know why. 

It's not random.

It's my little piece of Wig Wam history, that will always stay in my bones, in my blood, in my heart and soul.
